A great alternative to eyebrow waxing, microblading is gaining popularity across the UK. Retreat Clinic is based in Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, and we provide a range of customers with this service. For semi-permanent eyebrows that you’ll fall in love with, contact us today.
Microblading is known by a variety of names, including embroidery, microstroking, feather touch, and hair like strokes. In short, it is a form of permanent makeup which partially or fully camouflages missing eyebrow hair. To do this, we create the appearance of simulated hair using fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments. Over time these strokes blur and fade. However, we’re able to refresh your make-up when this happens.
We use a very fine blade to deposit pigment in the epidermis. This is ideal for those looking to enhance the appearance of their eyebrows. The results are remarkably natural looking, regardless of the hair present. The treatment is especially great for those suffering from hair loss, and for those unhappy with their current eyebrows. The pigments that we apply are formulated to match your original eyebrow colour. The results are truly amazing and they give you the confidence to have natural looking eyebrows.
Microblading post-care is very important, and this directly impacts on the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. Do not let any water, lotion, soap, or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 7 days after your procedure.
After 5-7 days, make sure your hands are completely clean and gently apply the post-care ointment with clean hands. This can be done once at night time, but be sure to use the ointment sparingly as your skin needs to heal itself.
The following must be avoided for the four days immediately after your microblading
You should also be aware of the following, as they may have an adverse effect on the treatment:
Please wash your face carefully around the eyebrow without getting water on the treated area. During the shower, keep your face away from the showerhead or take a bath.
Itching and flaking may appear during the first seven days post-microblading procedure. However, experience has shown that by following these after-care instructions, these symptoms should disappear quickly.
